Team Objectives:

Create a small autonomous robot that will be able to traverse a maze in the quickest possible route

Skills learned in this project:

  • Electronics

  • Project planning and materials sourcing

  • Building with small hand tools

  • Laser cutting

  • Raspberry Pi Coding

  • Integration of motion sensors and camera systems

  • Machine learning algorithms

Current Work:

The Micromouse Competition team is currently starting work with the electronics of the robot. They are working to program the Raspberry Pis that will be used to control the robot and are wiring the various electronic components.
